I founded on myspace(the popular online website myspace.com)
many times when I read my friend's comments.
it's the idiom "drop someone a line"
which means "to write to someone"
for example:
"I haven't written to my parents for a long time. I'd better drop them a line today or tomorrow."
the reason why i found this idiom interesting is
